G.E. Shaw & Associates (ACT) Pty Ltd has a staff of 50 highly skilled project managers, site supervisors, engineers, contract administrators and support staff. The company is small enough to offer clients a personalised service targeted to their particular needs, yet large enough to simultaneously service a range of major and minor projects. The depth and breadth of the company’s resource base allows it to reallocate staff flexibly, as circumstances necessitate, to ensure that all projects undertaken are delivered on time and on budget.

We pride ourselves on our co-operative approach to implementing projects and believe that successful project delivery comes as a result of teamwork between the project/construction manager and the project architect, other design professionals, sub-contractors, and most importantly, the Client.

The company has built up an enviable reputation amongst those clients and is provider of choice for many of them, regularly being appointed to undertake repeat projects on a Single Select basis - building on the successful delivery of previous projects. The company’s operations are based on a QA system that integrates all aspects of work undertaken – technical, administrative and financial. The system is comprehensive and robust and provides clients with assurance of a smooth transition of the project from initial conception to final handover. The system is independently Certified to the ISO 9001 standard.

The company’s OH&S system is independently Certified to the ISO 4801 standard, as well as being accredited by the Federal Safety Commissioner under the Australian Government Building and Construction OH&S Accreditation Scheme.

We manage our projects in an environmentally sensitive way and are a member of the Green Building Council of Australia. Our environmental management system is independently Certified to the ISO 14001 standard.
